Hi Chris!

PyDeck looks good – then can you get the full `deck.gl` support for connectors to other GIS applications? I see there's some support for GEE, ArcGIS, MapBox, Globe, Leaflet, etc.

Frankly I haven't worked much beyond this example, although as a next step Will and I had considered extending this with Leaflet.

My go-to _community of practice_ to consult would be ESIP. They don't have a specific collaboration area for visualizaiton, although this work is part and parcel for so much of what the different teams do at NOAA, NASA, USGS, etc. Their collaboration areas are linked at https://www.esipfed.org/get-involved/collaborate and ESIP has a Slack board too that's open. I saw an ESRI hackathon there last year https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/f9a33dc04c5e411caac4404be5966a6d although I'm aware of a wide range of tooling getting used, and more focus on open source.
